InnovateTech Solutions is seeking a dynamic Senior System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team in Albuquerque. Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware)
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and compliance frameworks
- Design disaster recovery solutions with RTO/RPO targets and conduct regular DR drills
- Automate system provisioning and maintenance using Ansible/Terraform
- Monitor system health using Zabbix/Prometheus and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain configuration management databases
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
- Certification in AWS/Azure or equivalent cloud platforms (preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with backup systems (Veeam, Commvault)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and respond to critical incidents
