Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect organizational data and prevent cyber threats.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and applications.
- Automate deployment processes and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure high availability and 99.99% uptime for all critical systems.
- Conduct regular system audits, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize network performance and connectivity.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in system administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
