Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Windows/Linux systems and network infrastructure
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and on-premise data centers with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate operational tasks using Python/Ansible and optimize monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior administrators during critical incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration in Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) and virtualization (VMware)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Certifications required: CompTIA Server+ or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Proven experience with cloud migration and hybrid architecture design
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations for critical systems
