Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Automate deployment and configuration using Ansible/Terraform
- Perform capacity planning and system performance optimization
- Lead disaster recovery testing and incident response procedures
- Document IT infrastructure and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or AWS Solutions Architect preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
