Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and resolve incidents within SLA
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and optimize IT operations
- Collaborate with network engineers on cross-functional projects and vendor management
- Document procedures and provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise storage solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols and system integrations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
