Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex multi-platform environments (Linux/Windows)
- Lead cloud migration projects using AWS/Azure with a focus on scalability and cost optimization
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to streamline deployment processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct security audits and implement robust cybersecurity measures
- Document system configurations and create disaster recovery protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expert-level proficiency with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with relevant certifications
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- ITIL foundation or equivalent IT service management certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
