Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure including servers, storage, and networks.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and secure firewalls and VPNs to protect sensitive corporate data.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a professional environment.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a major plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is required.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
