Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and security.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and group policy management.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular system audits, security patching, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
