Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level security protocols
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python for operational efficiency
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patching/upgrades
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance with SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in 24/7 on-call rotation
