Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure and on-premise data centers
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Monitor system performance using Splunk, Datadog, and Nagios
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system outages and performance issues
- Document infrastructure configurations and create runbooks
- Mentor junior administrators and drive best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent network certification required
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
