Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) across 500+ endpoints
- Lead enterprise-level system migrations and upgrades with zero downtime
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and predictive analytics
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible for routine maintenance tasks
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware/KVM) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical infrastructure incidents and disaster recovery
- Mentor junior administrators and document comprehensive SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows Server
- Expert-level certification (e.g., RHCE, MCSE, CCNP) or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and load balancing
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog, Splunk) and log aggregation
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python/Bash) for automation
- Proven track record in designing HA/DR solutions for mission-critical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
