Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise-level server infrastructure including Linux/Windows environments
- Implement and maintain cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) with emphasis on security best practices
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate routine tasks
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
- Mentor junior administrators and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
