Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Windows Server and Linux environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with IaC practices
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN systems
- Execute security hardening, patch management, and compliance audits
- Provide 24/7 on-call support with documented escalation procedures
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL/CentOS
- AWS/Azure certifications (e.g., SysOps Admin, Solutions Architect)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers)
- ITIL foundation or equivalent ITSM certification
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware maintenance
