Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with emphasis on automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Implement robust monitoring solutions (Prometheus/Grafana) and incident response protocols
- Optimize system performance through capacity planning and resource allocation
- Lead security hardening initiatives and compliance audits (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR tests
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab
- Document infrastructure architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level system administration with 3+ years in cloud environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code implementation
- CCP/CCSP or equivalent cloud certification required
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and container security
- Proven track record of optimizing large-scale virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with demonstrated incident management experience
