Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and virtualization infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Configure and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee Active Directory user administration and group policy management.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCE, or MCSA are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
