Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including SIEM and patch management.
- Automate routine tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular data backups.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
