Responsibilities
- Server & Network Management: Monitor and maintain server health, ensuring high availability and performance for all critical applications and services.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, patch management strategies, and access controls to safeguard organizational data.
- System Configuration: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory and virtualization platforms.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failure.
- Hardware Support: Manage the lifecycle of hardware assets, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and vendor relations for on-site equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation regarding system architecture, network diagrams, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022), Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), and Active Directory.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or similar certifications are highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues under pressure.
