Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments with 99.9% uptime
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Lead security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize network performance across hybrid infrastructure
- Onboard new technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, SD-WAN) while maintaining legacy systems
- Mentor junior admins and document SOPs for operational excellence
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with cloud exposure
- Expert-level Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016+) administration
- Certifications: AWS/Azure Architect or CompTIA Server+
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls)
- Proven disaster recovery planning and incident response leadership
