Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards to protect sensitive data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and switching hardware.
- Automate routine IT tasks and deployment processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) management, cost optimization, and scaling strategies.
- Lead server migration projects and ensure zero downtime during transitions.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to proactively identify potential issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure, and their respective services.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and identity management solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, or AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.
