Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies across 500+ endpoints
- Oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure with emphasis on cost optimization
- Execute disaster recovery plans and backup solutions for critical systems
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Monitor system performance with Nagios and Splunk dashboards
- Document SOPs and create technical runbooks
- Mentor junior sysadmins through cross-functional projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- AWS/Azure certifications (AWS SysOps/Azure Administrator preferred)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
