Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise hybrid systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability, responding to incidents with urgency.
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless connectivity and security protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits and patch management to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or RHCE are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Valid Driver's License required for occasional on-site support.
