Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls and access controls, to protect sensitive data.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network issues and routing protocols.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python/Bash) to improve efficiency.
- Lead server upgrades, patch management, and system patches to ensure stability and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT solutions for business growth.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or IT Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Linux+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are highly preferred.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
