Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce robust network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user provisioning, and identity management.
- Develop and maintain scripting solutions (Python/Bash/PowerShell) to automate routine administrative tasks.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute regular system backups to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot application performance issues and hardware upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience is accepted.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, RHCE, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing IT security compliance and disaster recovery procedures.
