Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows server environments (100+ systems)
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls and VPNs
- Automate system administration tasks using Python/Ansible
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
- Document IT procedures and maintain security compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker)
- Proven track record in high-availability infrastructure design
- Ability to work flexible hours for critical system maintenance
