Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), and cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues with diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Nagios)
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions (Veeam)
- Document IT infrastructure and create disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud infrastructure
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Proven track record in high-availability environments
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
