Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Proactively monitor system performance using Nagios/SolarWinds and optimize resource utilization
- Execute disaster recovery plans and security protocols (SOX/HIPAA compliance)
- Automate workflows with Python/PowerShell and manage containerized deployments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document procedures and create knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or AWS SysOps Administrator
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management (Ansible)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
