Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain robust network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Proactively monitor system health using Splunk and Nagios to ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover drills
- Document all infrastructure changes using Confluence and maintain accurate CMDB records
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for complex system outages and performance bottlenecks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere and AWS/Azure cloud services
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs for hardware maintenance tasks
