Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of cloud-native microservices on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system performance using profiling tools and A/B testing
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Champion DevOps practices including infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blogs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in full-stack development (Python/Java/Go)
- Expertise with distributed systems and database design (PostgreSQL/Redis)
- Proven experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Strong grasp of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, encryption)
- Agile/Scrum methodology proficiency
- Bachelor's in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture
