Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and AWS Lambda
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the team
- Resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specs
- Automate testing infrastructure achieving 95%+ code coverage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in event-driven architecture and message queues
- Proven track record of deploying high-throughput APIs
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain Ohio-based security clearance if required
