In this role, you will ensure the stability and scalability of our core platforms during critical maintenance windows. You will work closely with our Lead Architects to deploy updates, troubleshoot complex backend systems, and optimize our infrastructure for peak performance.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications specifically for our weekend operational cycles.
- Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical services by implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and refactor existing code.
- Debug and resolve production incidents that occur during off-hours with minimal supervision.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the technical debt reduction strategy.
- Automate deployment pipelines to streamline the release process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a high-load production environment.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python (or similar backend languages).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with the on-call engineering team.
