Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions for our weekend maintenance and deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 operations team to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure 99.9% uptime during critical weekend periods.
- Maintain and refactor legacy codebases to improve scalability and security.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions.
- Document technical requirements and system changes thoroughly.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java and modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Spring).
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Ability to work a rotating weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) or fixed weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
