Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS/GCP with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and ArgoCD
- Conduct code reviews ensuring security best practices and technical debt management
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Automate testing frameworks achieving 95%+ test coverage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
