Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js/Python for high-transaction payment systems
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS) with Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions for weekend deployments
- Resolve production incidents with root cause analysis and post-mortem documentation
- Collaborate with UX teams to build responsive React components
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven patterns
- Proficient in cloud security (IAM, KMS, VPC) and compliance standards
- Strong debugging skills with performance profiling tools (New Relic, Datadog)
- Experience leading agile sprints in remote-first environments
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
