Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Lead development of RESTful APIs with Node.js and Python, ensuring 99.99% uptime
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Conduct code reviews and enforce security best practices (OWASP Top 10)
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to pixel-perfect responsive web applications
- Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum) and contribute to technical roadmap planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong foundation in OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex projects with performance metrics
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with asynchronous communication
- Experience mentoring developers through code reviews and technical sessions
