Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Go and AWS
- Lead weekend development sprints for critical infrastructure projects
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 24/7 deployment readiness
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and security audits
- Collaborate with product teams on technical roadmaps
- Monitor system performance using Datadog and Grafana
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in Go, Python, and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems design
- Weekend shift availability (Sat-Sun 10AM-6PM PT)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred
