Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable security software solutions using Java/Python
- Lead weekend sprint planning and code reviews for critical infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security protocols into DevOps pipelines
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for threat detection systems
- Conduct thorough code audits and vulnerability assessments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with security focus
- Expertise in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, or OSCP preferred)
