We are a leading fintech company dedicated to redefining digital transactions. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our backend systems maintenance and development during our critical weekend release cycles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for weekend maintenance windows and system patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, and DevOps) to ensure seamless integration of new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Maintain and optimize existing databases and APIs to ensure 99.9% uptime during peak weekend traffic.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and debugging sessions to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Availability to work a dedicated weekend shift (e.g., Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
