- Weekend Operations: Oversee the deployment of code, database migrations, and system patching during off-peak hours to minimize downtime for global users.
- Incident Response: Monitor system health and respond to critical alerts with urgency and precision, ensuring 99.99% uptime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for our microservices architecture using modern technologies.
- Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline release processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaboration: Partner with the QA team to validate releases and provide technical guidance on complex architectural challenges.
- Optimization: Analyze application performance and optimize backend services for speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
- Technologies: Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud & DevOps: Solid understanding of AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work a rotating weekend shift (e.g., Saturday/Sunday).
