Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Python and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime across distributed environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architecture
- Strong background in RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Pytest, Jest) and TDD methodologies
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
