Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of microservices using Java/Python and AWS/Azure
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and Node.js
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical applications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FedRAMP)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience with federal project delivery and security protocols
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Active Secret clearance preferred
