Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable software solutions using microservices and cloud-native technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, Java, or Go, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure best practices.
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and implement optimizations to improve speed, reliability, and security.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features on time.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Testing: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure system stability and reduce bugs in production.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and optimization.
- Tools: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
