Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance backend services and microservices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting rigorous code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define features and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve system reliability and speed.
- Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies to ensure seamless production releases.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis for critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in TypeScript/JavaScript preferred.
- Databases: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- DevOps: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
