Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Develop RESTful APIs with Go and Python for high-traffic systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry conference speaking
- Conduct code reviews focusing on security best practices
- Optimize database performance for petabyte-scale data processing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, and serverless architectures
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle product development
- Strong background in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Published research or patents in software engineering preferred
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
