Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-scale, distributed software solutions using modern architectures.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to strict coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability for global users.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least two major programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and RESTful API design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
