Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Python on AWS infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for Kubernetes-based deployments
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews and architectural planning
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Drive performance optimizations reducing API latency by 40%+
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and technical blog content
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong AWS/Azure/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven track record of leading complex SaaS projects
- Advanced knowledge of gRPC, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
