Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through paired programming sessions
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blog posts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in distributed systems and database optimization
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating open-source contributions or technical leadership
