Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Lead development of RESTful APIs and optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/MongoDB)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, load) and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience)
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with strong OOP fundamentals
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Proven track record building high-availability, scalable distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
