Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Python/Java in AWS/GCP environments
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Kubernetes and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance profiling and system optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in NY and Nashville
- Document technical decisions and architecture diagrams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Python/Java)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
