Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS cloud environment
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Docker for 24/7 deployments
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies with Redis
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Research emerging technologies and propose architectural improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Java/Spring ecosystem and RESTful API development
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
