Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Go, Python, and AWS cloud services
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance optimization and security vulnerability assessments
- Drive architectural decisions for high-availability, low-latency systems
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native applications
- Expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Go, Java, or C#)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and APIs
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
